Jo is a self-confessed borne again yogi and healthy bean. After a long and illustrious career running travel and events companies, Jo fell in love with the slow life after suffering Post Natal depression after the birth of her daughter in 2014 and decided to embrace a holistic lifestyle on her journey to wellness. Mindful Tribes was found through conversations with her yoga community initially, and before long other business owners were wanting support in running beautiful company retreats for their people, all with a big wellness flavour.
Yoga + Meditation Consultant
Melissa is a well loved yoga and meditation teacher and mum of two. Currently based in Melbourne she has taught in some of the most amazing studios in the country. Her passion is supporting new parents through mindfulness. Her business Big Love Yoga delivers friendly and no-fuss yoga and meditation workshops and classes.
As our yoga consultant Melissa works with us and our yoga teachers, to provide the most attuned mindfulness retreat experiences for each individual retreat.
Nourish + Nutrition Consultant
Life in Byron Bay let's Jane live the life she has always dreamed. Wellness, food, travel, surfing and connecting with nature any way she can. Not only a passionate nutrionist, Jane is one of the most popular yoga teachers on the NSW North Coast. Her style is a combination of hatha, yin, and restorative and flow yoga with classes providing a nourishing and blissful space to delve.
Jane has been responsible for creating our 'Nourish + Nutrition' workshops to excite and inspire guests on some select retreats.
Rachel Van Den Bosch
Wellness Chef + caterer
Rachel is a strong advocate for creating a balanced and holistic life. As a chef Rachel began her craft in her teens in 2 & 3 hatted restaurants in Melbourne. She now runs a boutique wellness catering business and has fallen in love with plant-based cuisine. Rachel’s career as a natural health practitioner has involved extensive study including naturopathy, holistic and sports nutrition, natural fertility education.
